Sunday football. Saturday speed. One desert spectacle.

The Silver State Motor Bowl is a 110,000-seat football and motorsports cathedral carved into the desert outside Laughlin, Nevada. Its regulation football field sits inside a complete high-banked stock-car oval, giving every Smell My Punt home game the atmosphere of a championship kickoff and a green-flag start at the same time. Purple, orange, black, and silver grandstands rise above pit road while the Colorado River and rugged Nevada mountains frame the horizon.
Race cars roar through a pregame exhibition before taking their places along Victory Lane, where the team makes its entrance beneath enormous checkered flags. American banners, premium turn-one suites, garage-club hospitality, and Coors Refresh Stations throughout the concourses complete the all-American race-day experience—without surrendering the stadium’s independent Silver State identity. When the lights come on, the desert becomes the loudest intersection of football and speed in the Legacy League.
Andy and Jody Johnzalez lead Smell My Punt together from Sparks, Nevada, combining two perspectives into one confident front office. Their 2025 campaign finished 7–8 with 1,745.42 points, keeping the franchise in the thick of a tightly contested Division B race. The team name may get the first laugh, but the Johnzalez duo brings a focused, partnership-driven approach to every lineup decision.
Away from fantasy football, Andy and Jody gravitate toward sunshine, speed, and the open road. Warm-weather escapes to Arizona and Southern Nevada are always on the itinerary, while NASCAR supplies the high-octane competition they enjoy in their downtime. That mix of desert calm and race-day adrenaline gives Smell My Punt a personality all its own: relaxed until the green flag drops.
