Three still perfect: The Week 2 league report.

Three teams. Zero losses. Crazytrains, Encinitas Sharks and Rookies of the Caribbean are the only 2–0 teams left after Week 2. Max owns the points lead; Chris and Sean are about to put their perfect records on the same field in Week 3’s Clash of the Legends. Editorial rankings prioritize the unbeaten teams, then weigh two-week scoring, Week 2 form and scoring depth. They are not ESPN playoff seeds. Playoff outlooks are qualitative judgments, not calculated probabilities. ESPN currently lists a six-team playoff field after a 14-week regular season, leaving 12 regular-season games.
POWER RANKING #1
Crazytrains
2–0 · 321.10 season points
Max J. Good has the runaway engine: 179.18 points in Week 2 and a league-best 321.10 through two games. Jaxon Smith-Njigba supplied 42.50, with Patrick Mahomes adding 28.98. This was the week’s biggest win, an 84.32-point demolition of Tokyo.
Playoff outlookStrong early position. The scoring lead backs up the unbeaten record.
Road aheadDartmen in Week 3, Jive Turkeys in Week 4, Hawk and Balls in Week 5. The next two opponents are both 0–2, a real chance to build separation—but no automatic wins.
POWER RANKING #2
Encinitas Sharks
2–0 · 289.38 season points
Chris Waizmann’s Sharks followed their Week 1 points title with a 126.78–108.48 win over the Dartmen. Jonathan Taylor delivered 29.20 and Chris Olave 22.60. Their 289.38 season points rank second league-wide.
Playoff outlookStrong early position. Week 3 is the first major test of their conference lead.
Road aheadRookies in Week 3, IRAN Achane on her in Week 4, Hooligans in Week 5: three straight Dynasty opponents and a chance to control the race.
POWER RANKING #3
Rookies of the Caribbean
2–0 · 266.34 season points
Sean McCaffrey’s crew stayed perfect by beating The Dog Haus 140.48–125.82. Jahmyr Gibbs contributed 23.30 and Dalton Kincaid 22.50. Two straight conference wins have put the Rookies right alongside the Sharks.
Playoff outlookStrong early position. Winning the upcoming unbeaten showdown would give them a valuable head-to-head result.
Road aheadSharks in Week 3, Dartmen in Week 4, Jive Turkeys in Week 5. The next game is the toughest by current record; both following opponents are 0–2.
POWER RANKING #4
Love Wands
1–1 · 267.72 season points
Shane Derifield won the family showdown, beating Dakota 156.68–124.88. Davante Adams exploded for 40.50 and Jared Goff added 29.78. Week 2’s second-highest score earns the Love Wands the top spot among our 1–1 teams.
Playoff outlookCredible contender. The scoring ceiling is playoff-caliber; now repeat it.
Road aheadHooligans in Week 3. A conference win would move Shane above .500 while an unbeaten rival takes a loss if the Sharks–Rookies game produces a winner.
POWER RANKING #5
The Dog Haus
1–1 · 275.68 season points
A 125.82-point losing effort is hardly a collapse. The Dog Haus still rank third in season scoring at 275.68 after falling to the Rookies. James Cook III led this week’s group with 20.90.
Playoff outlookCredible contender. Their scoring profile is stronger than the 1–1 record alone suggests.
Road aheadIRAN Achane on her in Week 3, followed by the Hooligans and Love Wands. Three straight conference games make this an important stretch.
POWER RANKING #6
Huntington Beach Hooligans
1–1 · 237.78 season points
The Hooligans got off the mark with a 127.82–122.92 win over Smell My Punt. Josh Allen’s 40.82 was the engine, accounting for nearly a third of their score. That 4.90-point escape keeps them in the chase.
Playoff outlookIn the mix. A second source of big weekly points would make the outlook sturdier.
Road aheadLove Wands in Week 3. Allen’s ceiling meets a team fresh off 156.68; this is an immediate measuring stick.
POWER RANKING #7
IRAN Achane on her
1–1 · 238.44 season points
Dakota Derifield lost the family bragging rights despite CeeDee Lamb’s 35.30. A respectable 124.88 was not enough against the Love Wands, but 238.44 season points leave this team competitive in the crowded middle.
Playoff outlookIn the mix. One loss changes the cushion, not the season.
Road aheadThe Dog Haus in Week 3, then the Sharks. Two productive opponents will test the rebound.
POWER RANKING #8
Team Terry
1–1 · 229.66 season points
Team Terry survived the week’s closest finish, beating the Jive Turkeys 95.80–93.82—a margin of just 1.98. Kyren Williams led with 15.70. The victory counts fully, even if the offense has more to prove.
Playoff outlookIn the mix, with a scoring concern. Week 1’s 133.86 shows a better level is available.
Road aheadHawk and Balls in Week 3. Both are 1–1, so this is a useful chance to gain ground in Legends.
POWER RANKING #9
Smell My Punt
1–1 · 226.16 season points
Smell My Punt were only 4.90 points from a 2–0 start. Derrick Henry’s 17.70 and Omarion Hampton’s 17.50 helped produce 122.92, but the Hooligans edged them. This was a competitive loss.
Playoff outlookIn the mix. A narrow defeat leaves a workable foundation and little reason to panic.
Road aheadOakland Invaders / Fubars in Week 3, then Team Terry. Those are direct Legends-race opportunities.
POWER RANKING #10
Hawk and Balls
1–1 · 203.56 season points
Amon-Ra St. Brown’s 35.20 and Dak Prescott’s 29.76 powered a 116.46–109.48 win over Oakland / Fubars. Getting back to .500 matters, though 203.56 season points remain near the bottom of the league.
Playoff outlookIn the mix, but more depth of scoring is needed to sustain a run.
Road aheadTeam Terry in Week 3, Tokyo in Week 4, Crazytrains in Week 5. Bank progress before that Week 5 test.
POWER RANKING #11
Oakland Invaders / Fubars
1–1 · 216.18 season points
Oakland Invaders, listed on ESPN as Fubars, fell 116.46–109.48 to Hawk and Balls. Matthew Stafford delivered 26.98, but the overall score stayed in the lower half of the weekly field.
Playoff outlookIn the mix, with limited margin. A 1–1 record keeps the door open; production needs to rise.
Road aheadSmell My Punt in Week 3. A win creates a 2–1 launch point; a loss leaves another conference rival ahead.
POWER RANKING #12
Dartmen
0–2 · 232.74 season points
The defending champions are 0–2 after a 126.78–108.48 loss to the Sharks. Dalton Schultz’s 26.00 and Christian McCaffrey’s 22.60 were not enough. Their 232.74 season points suggest more resistance than the record implies.
Playoff outlookRecovery needed. Twelve regular-season games remain, but the immediate schedule is demanding.
Road aheadCrazytrains in Week 3, Rookies in Week 4. Back-to-back unbeaten opponents make the next fortnight a serious test.
POWER RANKING #13
Tokyo Tsunamis
0–2 · 229.08 season points
Tokyo have faced the highest combined opponent scoring in the league: 341.78 across two weeks. That is brutal, but their own 94.86 against Crazytrains also needs improvement. Jalen Hurts led with 16.16.
Playoff outlookRecovery needed. Schedule misfortune is real; a scoring rebound must accompany any turnaround.
Road aheadJive Turkeys in Week 3. Two 0–2 teams meet, giving Tokyo a direct opportunity to stop the slide.
POWER RANKING #14
Jive Turkeys
0–2 · 145.04 season points
The Turkeys nearly escaped, falling just 1.98 short of Team Terry. Ja’Marr Chase scored 26.50, and the team improved from 51.22 in Week 1 to 93.82. Still, 145.04 season points are the league’s lowest.
Playoff outlookSteepest climb. The first priority is a reliable weekly scoring floor, not playoff arithmetic.
Road aheadTokyo in Week 3, then Crazytrains and the Rookies. This week is an important chance to get moving before two unbeaten teams arrive.

LEGENDS CONFERENCE — Crazytrains (2–0, 321.10 PF) have the outright lead. Team Terry (1–1, 229.66), Smell My Punt (1–1, 226.16), Oakland / Fubars (1–1, 216.18) and Hawk and Balls (1–1, 203.56) sit one win back. Tokyo (0–2, 229.08) and Jive Turkeys (0–2, 145.04) are two back. Crazytrains play a cross-conference game against the Dartmen next; the other six Legends teams pair off against one another. The chasing pack will start to separate.
DYNASTY CONFERENCE — Sharks (2–0, 289.38 PF) and Rookies (2–0, 266.34) share the best record, with the Sharks ahead in season scoring. The Dog Haus (1–1, 275.68), Love Wands (1–1, 267.72), IRAN Achane on her (1–1, 238.44) and Hooligans (1–1, 237.78) are one win back; Dartmen (0–2, 232.74) are two back. Sharks–Rookies is the headline, while Love Wands–Hooligans and Dog Haus–IRAN give the chasing teams their own meaningful conference tests. These are the two ESPN divisions, named conferences by the league.
PLAYOFF WATCH — No one is remotely safe or eliminated after two weeks. Crazytrains, Sharks and Rookies have the strongest starting positions. The Dog Haus and Love Wands bring strong scoring cases from the 1–1 pack. The next tier is crowded, and the three winless teams still have 12 games to recover. Points matter: ESPN lists TOTAL_POINTS_SCORED as its playoff seeding rule. We are not assuming an unverified fixed allotment of playoff places per conference.
