Emerald City Islands Stadium: island calm. northwest thunder.

Team Terry have unveiled Emerald City Islands Stadium, a 65,000-seat open-air retreat on Whidbey Island where timber, native stone, navy steel, and Pacific-teal glass meet Puget Sound views, wildlife corridors, and a dramatic salmon fountain.
Team Terry now call Emerald City Islands Stadium home: a 65,000-seat open-air retreat nestled into the forests and rocky shoreline of Whidbey Island. Timber, native stone, navy steel, and Pacific-teal glass settle naturally into the landscape, while every seat looks toward Puget Sound and the snow-capped mountains beyond.
The venue’s island character runs through every level. Evergreen wildlife corridors wind through the concourses, bald eagles circle above the open bowl, and passing orcas can sometimes be spotted offshore beyond the west grandstand. At the main entrance, a dramatic salmon fountain welcomes fans in a tribute to the fishing traditions and untamed beauty of island life.
It may be peaceful before kickoff, but Team Terry’s home-field lore is already written in the water and the trees: when the team takes the field, Northwest thunder rolls across the sound.
